Buying a Home

There are several research resources to help you understand how the process of purchasing a home takes place. My business philosophy is that you, as a client, are extremely important. The phrase, "everyone is a V.I.P.," is an overused cliche, but something I stick by. Whether you are purchasing a $100,000 condo or a multi-million dollar estate, it is a large investment for you. Since there is a large amount of money involved, you will want to ensure that your money is spent well and working hard for you in the form of a good return on your investment. I am here to make sure you know of all the important details before you begin the purchase of your dream home.

Las Vegas has experienced tremendous growth in the past few years. While appreciation of property values have slowed considerably, we are definitely not in the same situation as other cities, such as Detroit, which is suffering from a huge decline in price. In Detroit, they are losing jobs every quarter, fueling the decline in prices. Here in Las Vegas, we are projected to be short of labor because of our massive job growth prospects. We have so many new hotel/casinos going up, it's ridiculous! Here is a short list: Steve Wynn's "Encore", Sheldon Adelson's "Palazzo", Boyd Gaming's "Echelon", MGM Grand's "City Center", and Fountainebleu Resorts & Turnberry's "Fountainebleu". These hotel/casinos will bring massive job growth. McCarran International Airport is currently expanding to accomidate this growth in hotel rooms. We also have the World Furniture Center, which will be the largest permenent convention space in the United States. Imagine the amount of jobs this will create! Nevada's favorable tax and business climate encourages small businesses to start up. With all of this information, coupled with the fact that our land supply is finite (we are completely surrounded by mountains and Bureau of Land Management), it is hard to believe the media when they say that real estate in Las Vegas is a bad investment. Buying a home is an exciting and complex adventure. It can also be a very time-consuming and costly one if you're not familiar with all aspects of the process, and don't have all the best information and resources at hand.
